S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl Releasing in Q1 2024, According to New Fact Sheet

Developer GSC Game World previously stated that the survival shooter would still be released this year on Xbox Series X/S and PC.

GSC Game World’s S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is playable at Xbox’s booth on the Gamescom 2023 show floor. However, while the developer said it wouldn’t delay the title to next year – with Plaion listing it for release on December 1st on its online store – new fact sheet claims the opposite.

It notes that the survival shooter will be released in Q1 2024 for Xbox Series X/S and PC, with a day-one launch on Game Pass. As part of a press kit, the fact sheet reiterates previously confirmed details, from the survival mechanics (like taking meds to deal with the Exclusion Zone’s effects) and over 30 firearm models to Unreal Engine 5 being used for development.

The new release window isn’t reflected on Steam, with December 2023 release still specified or Xbox.com and the Epic Games Store, which still list it for release this year. These may take time to update, so stay tuned. In the meantime, check out some gorgeous screenshots of the survival shooter here.
