Dune: Spice Wars is Leaving Early Access in September

The 1.0 release window of September for Dune: Spice Wars was announced alongside the release of a new trailer.

Developer Shiro Games has announced that real-time strategy game Dune: Spice Wars will be getting out of early access and into a full release in September. Sadly, despite a trailer for the announcement, the studio hasn’t announced a precise release date aside from a September 2023 release window.

The new trailer also gives us a great look at how Dune: Spice Wars has evolved since it originally launched in early access last year. It has seen number of updates released for it over time, including the Line in the Sand update from way back in January, and even the ability to play online multiplayer.

Dune: Spice Wars puts players into the shoes of the leader of one of the Great Houses of the Imperium on the planet of Arrakis. Players will take part in different part of the Dune mythos, including espionage and spycraft, alongside making use of other RTS and 4X genre conventions to conquer the world of Arrakis and control the flow of spice.

Dune: Spice Wars is currently available on PC as an early access title on Steam.
