Europa is a Ghibli-Inspired Game About Exploration and Adventure, Demo Available on Steam

The Ghibli-inspired adventure-focused game Europa now has a demo available for free on Steam, along with a new trailer.

Developer Helder Pinto has released a new trailer for its upcoming exploration-centric game Europa. Alongside giving us a new look at the Studio Ghibli-inspired game, the trailer also announces that a demo for Europa is now available through Steam. Check it out below.

As its name might imply, Europa takes place on the eponymous moon of Jupiter, which has since been terraformed. Players take on the role of an android named Zee, who has set out in search for answers. The game revolves largely around exploring the vivid landscapes of Europa, complete with ancient, seemingly-magical technology being found all over the place.

Europa doesn’t really have any combat, being a more peaceful game revolving around exploration and the sense of adventure. Players will be able to run and jump around during their travels, but can also take to the skies thanks to the Zephyr jetpack.

Europa doesn’t quite have a solid release date. The game’s Steam page does reveal that it is slated for release some time in 2024.
