Publisher People Can Fly and developer Incuvo have announced Bulletstorm VR, slated for release later this year. Bulletstorm VR hopes to bring the original Bulletstorm’s much-beloved gameplay into VR, including aspects like the Skillshot system. Check out the announcement trailer below.

In case you didn’t already know about Bulletstorm, Bulletstorm VR will put you into the shoes of Grayson Hunt after he crash lands on to an abandoned resort planet. Hunt wants to hunt down the the person responsible for the betrayal, and along the way, hopefully recover his crew.

Bulletstorm VR will allow players to switch between ranged and melee combat to take advantage of the Skillshot system, which rewards players for getting creative with the way they dispose of their enemies. The standout weapon of the game, the Energy Leash, will also be returning in Bulletstorm VR with a whole new way to use it.

Bulletstorm VR will be coming to PC, PlayStation VR2, and the Quest. It currently doesn’t have a release date aside from a 2023 window.
