The game in question is an RPG set in a dark fantasy world. Sound familiar?

It seems CD Projekt RED is up to more than just Cyberpunk 2077, as its CEO revealed recently on Polish TV Nowa CNBC that a second triple-A project will be showcased in the first half of 2013. He also stated that this second project is further along in development than Cyberpunk 2077.

This of course fuels sentiment that the game could be out before Cyberpunk 2077. It also fuels speculation that the game is the follow-up to RED’s critically acclaimed The Witcher series.

Other hints? How about this project stated as being “an RPG set in a dark fantasy world”?

Wonder how many fantasy projects the developer has in its repertoire that has wielded success before. Also, whether it’s The Witcher 3 or not, it is known that this second AAA project will have multiplayer support.

The interview is quite old, but given how it happened on Polish television, it’s no wonder that it escaped everyone’s notice. Still, in the build-up to Cyberpunk 2077’s first teaser trailer, it’s valuable information all the same.
