Cyberpunk 2077

CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 is getting its own card game, though unlike GWENT: The Witcher Card Game, it will be a physical iteration created in collaboration with publisher CMON! The card game is called Afterlife and will see players working as Fixers. These are essentially the quest-givers in Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City.

What this means is that you’ll recruit different mercenaries, equip them with items and have them complete missions. Street Cred and cash are on the line but should your mercenaries gain enough experience, they can impart “their knowledge and experience to newer recruits.” Of course, you can also give up cards in your deck to purchase new ones.

Players can look forward to an “innovative drafting mechanic” and “special dashboard.” With Cyberpunk 2077 – Afterlife: The Card Game releasing in 2020, there’s still time to learn about its features. As for Cyberpunk 2077, it releases on April 16th 2020 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The E3 2019 gameplay showcased behind closed doors will be revealed this month at PAX West and there will be live gameplay demos at Gamescom 2019.
