Cyberpunk 2077- CD Projekt RED Teasing Gamescom Update

New update coming in hot tomorrow.

CD Projekt RED, make up your minds. After their incredible behind-closed-doors showing of Cyberpunk 2077 at E3, the Polish studio confirmed that they would be at Gamescom 2018, and that they’d probably be bringing the same demo to the trade fair (or a variation of it). Later, they said fans shouldn’t expect to see anything new from them at Gamescom, which confused enough people as it is.

Now, they’ve put up an update on the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter page that is teasing an update, conveyed in the same computer commands fashion as we saw at the beginning of the E3 2018 trailer. A new update for Cyberpunk 2077 lands tomorrow, Tuesday, August 21, and given the fact that they’re teasing it like this, there has to be something interesting about it (I’m assuming, at least).

Could it be part of the massive Inside Xbox showing Microsoft have planned for tomorrow? Either way, tomorrow promises to be a very promising day all around. Other than Cyberpunk 2077’s new showing (or whatever it will end up being), we’re also getting, among other things, an update on Shenmue 3, the first ever playable demo of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and new announcements from the likes of Ubisoft, THQ Nordic, Bandai Namco, and more.

Gamescom 2018 begins tomorrow, taking place in Cologne, Germany, and runs until August 25. Stick with GamingBolt for all the coverage from the event.
