Cyberpunk 2077 Developers Looking To Hire A “Release Manager”

Is the release of Cyberpunk 2077 nigh?

Cyberpunk 2077

We still don’t know when Cyberpunk 2077 will launch, and CD Projekt RED, the developers of the game, refuse to commit to a release date, presumably to avoid the public delays that occurred with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Nevertheless, judging by a job listing they have recently put up, it seems like they may be preparing to gear up for the game’s launch soon.

CD Projekt RED has posted a new job listing for a “release manager”, to “support [them] on [their] current and upcoming projects and to take part in coordination of all global product releases.” The responsibilities for the job include coordinating the global launch, submissions for certifications to console manufacturers, coordinating and liaising with multiple internal and external teams for the release, and more.

It sounds like they are getting ready to push the game out soon—could it actually hit this year, or should we expect it in 2020? No matter what, I think it’s time to keep ourselves prepared for CD Projekt RED’s next masterpiece. Presumably, it will be given a final release date this E3, which will be the “most important show ever” for CD Projekt RED.
