Cyberpunk 2077 E3 Demo Was 1080p, CD Projekt RED Confident It Will Get Good Performance In Final Game

The final game should be better on all fronts, once it has been optimized.

Cyberpunk 2077

The Cyberpunk 2077 demo that was shown off behind closed doors at E3 looked great- because it was actually running at a full 1080p. CDPR Community Lead Marcin confirmed on the official forums for the game that the game was not running in 4K, but in 1080p. Of course, again, as of right now, the demo is “pre-alpha”, so the final game should probably end up hitting higher resolutions, at least on high end PCs and consoles.

That resolution won’t necessarily come at the cost of performance, either. Speaking to a fan on Twitter, the official CD Projekt RED Twitter account said that while they can’t get into specifics this early in the game’s development, they are “confident” that they will be able to get good performance from the final game, especially since they are using their own engine.

Cyberpunk 2077 is due out… some time in the future. It will be launching for PS4, Xbox One, and PC for sure, but I suspect also for next gen consoles.
