We didn’t have to wait too long for CD Projekt RED’s mysterious livestream for Cyberpunk 2077 to actually culminate in something. And culminate it did, as a 48 minute gameplay walkthrough was released, which detailed everything from the combat and missions, to characters, hacking, abilities, and much more. Check it out below, but keep in mind that this represents work in progress gameplay that’s subject to change.

On top of character customization and how the shooting actually works, we get a look at the expansive Night City and the various personalities that reside within. It’s not long before the player is conducting shadowy deals, murdering heavily modified gangsters, and using an array of weapons, from ricocheting bullets to tracking bullets, to get the job done.

Of course, CD Projekt RED promises that there are multiple ways to approach a quest and ultimately resolve it, which applies to numerous quests around the city. It’s pretty much guaranteed that this is the same demo that was showcased behind closed doors at E3 2018. And while Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t have a release date, the gameplay walkthrough does show tons of promise. What are your thoughts? Let us know below.
