CD Projekt RED definitely has huge plans for E3 2019. Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be at the show, while the developer will also be speaking about the game at a dedicated E3 Coliseum panel. Meanwhile, by their own admission, CDPR view this E3 as the most important show in their history. That said, though the upcoming RPG is definitely going to be a huge presence at the event this year, those in attendance still won’t be able to get their hands on it.

Speaking on Twitter, CD Projekt RED’s global community lead, Marcin Momot, confirmed that they will be hosting gameplay presentations of Cyberpunk 2077 – in which the game will be played by the developers themselves. Which means people won’t be able to play the game for themselves- just as it was the case at last year’s E3.

However, we can also expect the game we’ll be seeing in a couple weeks’ time to differ quite a bit from what CD Projekt RED have already shown of it, by the developer’s own admission. Some recent reports have talked about the game having gone through rocky development, so it should be interesting to see how it’s shaping up.
