CyberPunk 2077 In Very ‘Intense’ Development, CD Projekt RED Confirms

"There will be a moment in time when we will be able to unveil what we have achieved."

CyberPunk 2077 has to have had the most frustrating hype cycle for a game in a very long time- originally revealed half a decade ago, we have heard little regarding the game since, since CD Projekt RED went silent on it. In that period, they have launched a game with its expansions to great success, are getting ready to release a new spin-off based on that game, and meanwhile, we still know as much – that is to say, nothing – about CyberPunk as we did all those years ago.

However, the game is still under development. During a financial presentation for investors held yesterday, President and Joint CEO Adam Kiciński confirmed that the game is in very ‘intense’ development currently at the developer. As for when we might hear more about it, he only teased that “there will be a moment in time [when CD Projekt RED] will be able to unveil what [they] have achieved.” Which sounds exciting.

CyberPunk 2077 will presumably launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC (that last one seems reasonably assured).
