Cyberpunk 2077’s official Twitter account is usually pretty active (they don’t usually say much about the game itself too often, but hey, at least they’re active). On the occasion of their 2077th tweet, they sent out a message to fans, thanking them them for their support, talking about communicating with the community, and briefly about the game itself as well.

They first spoke about the benefits of interacting with the community, discussing how that has helped them make a game that is better suited to what people are expecting from it and looking forward to. “Staying directly in touch with means we can better understand who you are and what you like about video games (including this particular one),” the message reads. “This, in turn, enables us to talk with the dev team (which also read this account daily), so they have a good picture of what you expect.”

Cyberpunk 2077 is a really big game, but so is the task of communicating it to so many wonderful people from all around the world,” the message continued. “These 2077 tweets have been an awesome and enlightening journey for us so far.”

They didn’t, of course, talk about a release date- CD Projekt RED has been adamant since the day they revealed the game that it will launch only “when it’s ready”. That said, quite recently, they put out a behind the scenes video talking about the development of the game and how it’s been coming along- you can take a look through here.

We also know for a fact that the game will be at E3 2019, so maybe we’ll find out more about a concrete launch date then. Fingers crossed!
