In its latest episode of Night City Wire, CD Projekt RED finally released the PC requirements for Cyberpunk 2077. To the surprise of many, the specs were actually quite reasonable, both for minimum and recommended hardware (even if the 70 GB install size is fairly big). But it was fairly obvious that the latter wasn’t going to be running in 4K resolution or with ray-tracing enabled.

Global community lead Marcin Momot has addressed this on Twitter, stating that, “We hear you and we will try to publish configs aimed at 4K, RTX, etc., closer to the release. Stay tuned!” This could be released as a separate announcement or revealed in the next episode of Night City Wire. Episode 4 may also be where the developer outlines its plans for post-launch DLC and expansions.

Either way, Cyberpunk 2077 is out on November 19th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC with compatibility for Xbox Series X and PS5 confirmed at launch. Full-fledged next-gen versions will be released next year and offered as free upgrades for current-gen players. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime and check out some of the sights in Night City here.
