Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Trailer Reveals Revamped Perks, Relic Tree, and Vehicle Combat

Utilize new finishers, shoot grenades in mid-air, deflect bullets with your katana, and more. Plus, a look at the upgraded police.

We’ve heard a lot about all the new features coming to Cyberpunk 2077 with the release of Phantom Liberty. At Gamescom Opening Night Live, CD Projekt RED finally unveiled gameplay for some of these, including the redesigned Perks, the Relic Tree and vehicular combat. Check them out below.

Some revamped Perks include deflecting bullets with a katana, finishers (including Savage Sling, where you throw an executed enemy into another) and an Air Dash. You can throw grenades and shoot them with Pull, chain together headshots with Deadeye and more. The Relic Tree offers crazy abilities like Spatial Mapping for quick teleportation to enemies for melee kills and super-strong melee attacks via Limiter Removal.

Vehicular combat also looks stellar, as you can attack with your guns or mod them with different weapons. The police have also been upgraded, and if you cause enough havoc, MaxTac will arrive to take you down.
