Cyberpunk 2077 Will Be At E3 2019, CD Projekt RED Confirms

Can we get a release date then, please?

After a full-fledged re-revel at E3 2018, Cyberpunk 2077 sat out The Game Awards in December, but for those of you who’re worried that we won’t be seeing the upcoming RPG once again for some time to come- well, don’t be. The game’s official Twitter account has confirmed that yes, Cyberpunk 2077 will indeed be at E3 this year.

We can probably assume it’s going to be part of the Microsoft showcase (which, if rumours are to be believed, is going to be pretty packed as it is), since Sony is sitting out E3 this year. What we don’t have any clue about is what exactly will entail the game’s presence at the show- is it going to be a full-blown demo presentation, or will it be a behind-closed-doors demo like last year once again? Considering the fact that the game’s been in proper development since 2016, one would assume that CD Projekt RED would be prepared for an on-stage showing by the time E3 rolls around- but you never know.

Another question worth asking is if we’ll see a concrete release date for the game at the show. CD Projekt RED have remained adamant that they won’t be talking about a launch date until they’re well and ready, but there have been reports that have indicated a release by the end of this year. Either way, release date or no, we can at least expect to get a lot more details on the game come June, so that’s definitely exciting.
