Cyberpunk 2077 Won’t Force You To Adopt Any Particular Playstyle

Stealth is going to be as much of an option for players as out and out combat.

We’ve heard plenty of Cyberpunk 2077’s fluid class system and its multi-layered progression mechanics, and how it will give players multiple ways to approach situations within the game. Recently, we sent across a few of our questions about the upcoming RPG to CD Projekt RED’s Miles Tost, the game’s level designer, and further quizzed him on the matter.

More specifically, we asked him if Cyberpunk 2077 allows players to approach the entire game with a stealthy approach, and Tost told us that essentially, the game lets you play “however you want”, and doesn’t force players to “adopt any particular playstyle”.

“A big part of what lets players immerse themselves in our game is allowing them to play it the way they want to,” Tost told GamingBolt. “This means providing them with options to navigate locations, solve or even bypass problems, etc. We never force players to adopt any particular playstyle and we certainly won’t do it in Cyberpunk 2077.”

Apparently, stealth isn’t the only area where players will be afforded such freedom. Recently, CD Projekt RED also confirmed that hacking will be an important part of Cyberpunk 2077 and will open plenty of paths and opportunities for players within the game. Read more on that through here.

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently without a release date, but whenever it does launch, CD Projekt RED has high ambitions for the game- they’re looking to make it an experience that’s as polished as the recently released Red Dead Redemption 2. Stay tuned to GamingBolt information for more information on Cyberpunk 2077- our full interview with Tost will be going live soon.
