DNF Duel - Spectre

Nexon is banking a lot on DNF Duel’s next big update, which coincides with the release of the first DLC character, Spectre. The Female Slayer uses sheathing techniques and a wire to move around. Check out the latest gameplay below, highlighting some of her moves and Super Awakening.

It’s also a showcase of the Cube Select system. You can choose the Gold Cube or Clear Cube, each providing different boosts and effects when your health drops below 30 or 50 percent. Even if you’re not keen on Spectre, these changes lead to interesting possibilities for fighters like the Vanguard, Ghostblade and Berserker.

Spectre releases on July 12th as part of DNF Duel’s Season Pass for PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. Can it revive the already-deceased player base? Time will tell, but four more characters are already planned, with two more arriving this year. Stay tuned for more updates, and in the meantime, check out our review for the base game.
