Forza Motorsport is Being “Polished and Prepared” for Release “Later This Year”

Starfield and Redfall have hogged the bulk of the headlines when it comes to first party exclusives set to release this year, but they aren’t the big names in that group. Forza Motorsport is another highly anticipated release that many have had their eye on for a while, and while there hasn’t been much clarity of late on when exactly it will release, it seems it’s continuing to make good progress behind the scenes.

In a recent blog update published on the official Forza website, developer Turn 10 Studios has said that it is “polishing and preparing Forza Motorsport for release later this year.”

While Microsoft said last year that Forza Motorsport would be out in Spring 2023, when the racing sim was shown off again earlier this year, it wasn’t handed a specific release date. Reports have claimed that the game has been delayed into the second half of 2023, while Microsoft itself has remained tight-lipped on the matter of a launch date.

Forza Motorsport is in development for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
