God of War Ragnarok was handed a 2022 launch window a while back, but now that we’re almost halfway through the year, many are beginning to wonder why a more concrete release date for the game still hasn’t been announced. Recent developments, however, have suggested that that could happen very soon.

The acton-adventure sequel was recently rated in South Korea, and now, merchandise for the game is also beginning to pop up. As spotted by @the_marmolade on Twitter, several merchandise items for God of War Ragnarok have been listed by UK retailer Geeky Zone, and interestingly, many of the listings mention September releases (while some also mention October).

Merchandise for games generally tends to go on sale a couple weeks before the games themselves are out, so this would give us a rough launch window for the game, that being somewhere in September or October.

Interestingly, developer SIE Santa Monica Studio has stressed on multiple occasions that God of War Ragnarok isn’t going to get delayed out of 2022. Hopefully, we’ll get official word on when it launches in the not-too-distant future.

Until then, stay tuned for any and all updates.
