Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 1.2 update, “Even Immortality Ends”, will receive a Special Program on July 8th with new details. It’s expected to release sometime this month and potentially add Kafka and Blade as new characters. However, miHoYo Games has revealed another new character on Twitter – Imbibitor Lunae.

The 5-star character follows the Path of Destruction, making them ideal for single-target attacks, and deals Imaginary damage. However, there’s also a strong resemblance to Dan Heng, a member of the Astral Express. Given the current storyline in the Xianzhou Luofu and the role of dragons in the Xianzhou Luofo, the next update could present some revelations about him.

Of course, Jingliu, Jing Yuan’s former teacher, is also rumored to be a playable character in the future. Stay tuned for more details when the Special Program debuts this Saturday. Honkai: Star Rail is available for PC, iOS and Android – check out our official review. It’s also coming to PS5 in Q4 2023.
