The latest content update for miHoYo’s Honkai: Star Rail is live. Version 1.2, “Even Immortality Ends”, adds two new areas and continues the main story on the Xianzhou Luofu. It also adds events like Tales of the Fantastic and Underground Treasure Hunt, while The Forgotten Hall gets The Voyage of Navis Astriger.

However, perhaps the biggest new addition is Blade, the infamous Stellaron Hunter. Wielding a sword, he deals Wind damage and follows the Path of the Destruction. As the latest video with Owlbert and Kafka reveals, Blade can consume 30 percent of his HP to activate Hellscape, turning his Basic Attack into Forest of Swords and granting a damage increase.

When used, Forest of Swords consumes 10 percent of HP to deal Wind damage based on his Attack and max health (which also hits adjacent targets). His Ultimate, Death Sentence, reduces his HP to 50 percent for Wind damage to targets based on his Attack, max HP and the total HP lost in the battle.

If that weren’t enough, taking damage or consuming HP grants a stack of Charge. At five charges, he’ll launch a follow-up attack on all enemies. Blade is the first new character in the update, with Kafka and Luka arriving later.
