Persona 3 Reload Confirmed for PS5, PS4, and Steam; Persona 5 Tactica for PS5, PS4, Steam, and Switch

As expected, Atlus has confirmed that its upcoming Persona titles won't be exclusive to Xbox- though curiously enough, a Switch version hasn't been announced for Persona 3 Reload.

When Atlus unveiled Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica at the recent Xbox Games Showcase, the two games were officially announced only for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Windows, which – given the fact that it was a Microsoft-hosted event – wasn’t a surprise. As expected, however, the Japanese developer has now confirmed that both titles will also be available for additional platforms upon release.

The company has confirmed that Persona 5 Tactica will also be launching for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam in addition to Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, while Persona 3 Reload has been confirmed to be in development for PS5, PS4, and Steam.

Curiously enough, the Nintendo Switch hasn’t been mentioned as a platform for Persona 3 Reload. While that would appear to mean that the remake won’t be releasing for the platform, that may not necessarily be the case. After all, when Atlus announced ports of Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal last year, it wasn’t until over two weeks after their original announcement that they were also confirmed for the Switch.

In the wake of its announcement, new details have also emerged on Persona 3 Reload. Atlus has confirmed the remake won’t include additional content from Persona 3 FES or Portable for the most part, though some story elements from the former will be included. It’s also been confirmed that the game will feature a completely new voice cast.

At Xbox Games Showcase earlier this week, Atlus also revealed Metaphor: ReFantazio for Xbox Series X/S and PC. It remains to be seen how long it will be before the fantasy RPG get confirmed for additional platforms, but it’s likely to happen soon (if it does).
