The remake is officially coming to PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, but Atlus could announce a Switch version soon.

The announcement of Persona 3 Reload, a remake of the classic PS2 RPG, has been somewhat strange. Following rumors, its trailer leaked before being officially announced at the Xbox Games Showcase…for Xbox and PC via the Windows Store. Atlus later confirmed it was also coming to PS4, PS5 and Steam.

Nintendo fans will doubtless have noticed the lack of a Switch version, but that’s seemingly coming as well. After a Switch listing was spotted on Spanish retailer Xtralife, another is available on Play-Asia, with preliminary box art and screenshots with Switch buttons in the interface. However, it’s also listed as shipping on August 31st, which is interesting since the remake is officially releasing in early 2024.

Time will ultimately tell when Atlus decides to reveal the Switch version, but it could be at Nintendo’s next Direct. The latter is potentially happening in July, though other rumors claim it’s coming in the next few days. Stay tuned for more details and an official announcement in the meantime.
