Persona 5 Tactica

Atlus debuted a new gameplay trailer for Persona 5 Tactica, the upcoming turn-based tactical strategy spin-off of Persona 5. It sees the Phantom Thieves entering a strange new world and joining forces with the mysterious Erina to fight for freedom. Though it sports a chibi-esque art style, the gameplay will be familiar to Persona series fans.

Each party member takes a turn in battle, but by exploiting an enemy’s weakness, you can activate 1 More. This mechanic grants a free turn to follow up with more damage or perform other actions. Given that some awards tie into turns remaining, it should certainly provide an edge.

Based on the positioning of party members, you can also activate Triple Threat, which is like an All-Out Attack but with three characters and covering enemies within that field. If that weren’t enough, Persona Fusions are also confirmed.

Persona 5 Tactica launches on November 17th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5.
