Nintendo has released a new accolades trailer, this time for Pikmin 4. Its long-awaited sequel in the Pikmin series was recently released for Nintendo Switch and garnered exceptional praise from critics. Check out some of it below.

Pikmin 4 is about a recruit in the Rescue Corps who ventures to a planet to rescue them (after they set out to rescue Captain Olimar). After customizing your character, you can command Pikmin, each with unique abilities and functions, to assist you. They’ll knock down walls, carry objects, and fight hostile creatures.

You also have Oatchi, who acts as a mount and can fight enemies while shepherding Pikmin across the water. Pikmin 4 innovates on its predecessor by featuring Night Expeditions and Dandori Battles, where you compete against an NPC to gather the most items. Check out our review of Pikmin 4 here. It topped UK physical charts on its debut, outselling its predecessor, and has sold over 400,000 units since launch in Japan.
