Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct was packed full of major new announcements for upcoming Mario titles, and while the Super Mario RPG remake may have grabbed its fair share of its headlines, just as massive was the announcement of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, a new mainline 2D sidescrolling platformer. With a completely new look and new mechanics (which are looking decidedly trippy, to say the very least), not to mention a wide range of playable characters, Super Mario Bros. Wonder has instantly caught the eye of many series fans.

In the wake of its announcement, some additional tidbits have also emerged on the platformer. For instance, courtesy of its Switch eShop page, it has been revealed that Super Mario Bros. Wonder will have a file size of 4.5 GB.

That’s par for the course as far as a 2D platformer on the Switch goes, though slightly higher than previous 2D Mario titles on the platform. In comparison, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe has a file size of 2.5 GB (though that is, of course, a port of a Wii U game), while Super Mario Maker 2 has a file size of 3.1 GB.

It’s also worth noting that there may be some fluctuations (if minor ones) to the game’s file size between now and its launch, which is still a few months off.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is set to release for the Nintendo Switch on October 20.
