Last week at Gamescom Opening Night Live, we got a fresh new look at Game Science’s promising looking Soulslike action RPG Black Myth: Wukong, and extensive new gameplay footage for the title has also emerged in the days since then.

For starters, Nvidia has uploaded about five minutes of gameplay footage showcasing multiple boss fights, while also showing off what the game will look like on PC with support for DLSS 3.

Meanwhile, IGN has also uploaded about 20 minutes of new gameplay footage. The (mostly) uncut gameplay showcases plenty of combat against a variety of enemies, with a little bit of overlap with the Nvidia footage, while also giving a taste of what the game’s exploration and progression mechanics will look like. To say the least, Black Myth certainly seems to be taking promising shape. You can view the new gameplay footage below.

Black Myth: Wukong is set to launch sometime in Summer 2024 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, but doesn’t yet have a specific release date.
